Under Ahmad’s direction, U.Group has ]been awarded some of the most highly-visible projects in the Federal government and created cutting-edge solutions that impact citizens, small businesses, and the U.S. economy. As ByteCubed, the company was featured on Inc. Magazine’s Fastest Growing Companies list, awarded multiple best places to work designations—including by The Washington Post and started the movement to reimagine the government contracting space.
Prior to founding U.Group, Ahmad served as an award winning Program Manager with Department of Defense for the development of the collaborative big data tool A-Space, which was recognized by TIME Magazine as the #32 Best Invention of 2008. He has founded multiple startups, is an avid advisor and angel investor, and an active member of supporting the local community.
Ahmad is passionate about doing impactful work that makes the world a better place by creating efficiencies, giving people better experiences, and disrupting the status quo.
Ahmad earned BAs in Political Science and Business Administration from California State University of Dominguez Hill, and attended Graduate school at George Washington and Johns Hopkins universities.
